My favourite house plant - beautifully painted once again. I love the shadow pushing the orchid forward. Your excellent hand in this once again Carole. PS thanks again for your comments on the Tulips much appreciated. Jeannette x

Thanks to all for comments, had to paint the flower a bit deeper as it didn't show up, it was very pale. Patsy, yes it was a gift.

Excellent Carole, I love orchids but find them difficult to paint. I've only managed one really successful painting of them and that got hung in the Kelvingrove Museum and Art gallery in Glasgow for a charity exhibition My one and only claim to fame! Thanks for your lovely kind comments yesterday about my paintings, cheered me up no end.

I just saw this lovely painting on the side gallery. This is my favourite flower and I painted it many times. Yours is just beautiful and I like the lack of background, just the shadow of the plant: perfect!!
