Stunning Carole - your handling of the watercolour is superb. The flowers look so delicate even though they are tough as old boots. Despite the endless rain, my hellebores are nodding their brave heads and putting on a lovely show.

Helebores - one of my favourite garden flowers - and this is just so good Caroline. I have a bed of them in full bloom - all the colours available and still I bought another one at the weekend - beautiful pale pink with deep purple veins which I placed alongside a purple double and a cream one. Can't resist going out in the garden every day and tilting these lovely blooms upwards for a better view of them.

Thanks Michael, yes they are beautiful, I have a very pale lemon green one with marroon markings, I must go down the garden to see if it has come up this year but garden is so soggy!
