Beautiful, delicate work. Just perfect.

As usual really lovely paintings.

Very illustrative ( is that the right word ? ) Would love to see this close up. Beautiful.

Beautiful delicate colours, and both good compositions!

Very unusual of having two paintings in one frame, I like the idea. The paintings are lovely and include lots of little details. I think they were a little bit tiring to work on because of their size.

Thanks very much for your lovely comments. Sorry Val I haven't got the painting now so can't take a closeup. I found the bottom fungus growing at the bottom of my garden, I think it's called Fairy Bonnets. As it's always damp and mossy in my garden I get many types of toadstools and fungus on the trees. Carole.

What a beautiful delicate painting of a rather unusual subject. I love it. You are obviously very fond of plant life subjects and do them well. A tutor in plant drawing once told me 'you should love your subject if you want to do a good picture of it!'

Thank you again Selina, yes you are right I love any plantlife, it's just the trying to do them justice thats the problem, ha ha. Carole.

so delicate.............lovely
