Not overworked or messy Carole, lovely light coming through, it's like looking through the undergrowth, 😀

It's effective as a semi-abstract - like the colours and the light coming through, Carole

This is great Carole. The inclusion of threads ha e worked a treat. The more you look the more you see.

Gorgeous work Carole, really like your style of work.

It's the kind of abstract I like, you can read things into it if you wish. Lots of great color and shapes in there.

Love the colours & textures - very effective.

I like this a lot Carole - as Lewis said you can read a lot into it - to me it looks like an illustration in a fairy tale where you wonder what is hidden up ahead!

No bang on experimental work again superb

Beautiful palette Carole

Thank you very much for your comments as always much appreciated:)

Good abstract and textures, Carole.

I love it, Carole.

This has so many possibilities Carole, it reminds me of a very beautiful textured handmade paper with the inclusion of the threads. It also has a wonderful translucency.

Thanks very much Cesare, Ellen and Fiona for your kind words.

Experiment or not, this certainly looks like you know what you’re doing Carole and it’s very effective. I like the story telling aspect, as has been said, like a book illustration and I want to know more! Super.

Thank you Tessa really appreciate your comment , wish I was good at story telling!

Very intriguing Carole I can read all sorts of things in this.

Love this! Amazing colours and textures.

I think it’s a fine piece of work Carole and beautifully expressive

Love the light shining through and the rich dark contrasting colours.

I agree with all Carole beautiful

Inks, watercolour, gouache, imprints of threads. Bit embarrassing to show as overworked and messy but would love your comments.... please! :))
