Oh - that's beautiful. When enlarged you can really see all the tiny veins in the petal which had such wonderful texture. What an interesting idea and by trying it out you have produce a lovely piece of work.

Found this under some books on floor, (so tidy I am) Slathered gesso on paper and stuck down hydrangea (skeletonized) petals. I painted them with watercolour and applied acrylic gel with beads and a bit of gold leaf. Looks messy but enjoyed it! Please click on it to see it better.
