I don’t know why but this reminds me of pomegranates...lol.....which I love by the way. I think it’s the colours and the segments along the bottom. I’m certainly in a place far, far away.

Thank you for your kind feedback on these doodles much appreciated. Love the pomegranate idea Fiona yes it does look like pomegranate seeds. Got two lovely new ph Martins hydrus colour in deep rose and Indian red, really beautiful colours, did a glaze of quinacridone gold over top.

Wonderful! I wonder if the Q/gold glaze was the key to making the creation 'jump' at the viewer. It certainly has life.
