I can see what you mean , there's something compelling about this Carole. Put a very wide mount around it and frame it.

A little different to your usual work, Carole. I like it. It has something of a mystic look about it.

Glad you did post it - nice one Carole

I like it too, nice and free and the colours and composition totally work.

Thanks very much. I love seeing the action of paint merging, sometimes it makes an abstract image :)

It worked well Carole.

Love the fact that it is so organic Carole. Lovely dark shapes. I agree with Marjorie over the wide mount.

I agree with Maureen it would look great with a wide surround, I love the dark colours you have used, it's different 😀

Why reluctant? Could be a new direction for you! Or probably not, but it's certainly created an unusual and arresting image.

I think this is just super, a really arresting image. Love it. As Marjorie says, put a very wide mount round it, it will be stunning!

Very interesting Carole and different, amazing how the paint and ink flows.

love it very spontaneous Carole

Thanks ever so much for your generous comments!

It's amazing what effects you can get when you let paint 'do its own thing'. I like the colours in this, especially that inky blue.

Well worth doing Carole. The colours really "work".

Thanks Jenny and Richard.

Reluctant to post this but I liked the way the ink seeped into watercolour just and formed trees. 4.5 x 3"
