such skill Carole

Just lovely Carole.

Just like that...

Fiona has been working with her compost heap and you weeding.... Both ended up with a lovely drawing. Should I start digging in a ditch to find inspiration.

Lovely those ivy leaves are stunning - you can come round to mine and do some weeding for inspiration any time you like !!

Super carole.

You can turn the ordinary into something special Carole.

That's lovely Carole - perhaps I should start weeding.

Wouldn't recommend gardening or digging ditches in this heat, I've flaked out tonight! Thanks all for your kind words :)

Delightful - it's such a joy finding things like this - same goes for experiences. I've just got back from taking the dog for a walk down one of the lanes leading out of our village and went past a copse of lime trees and oh the scent from the flowers - only wish I could paint it - now that would be something.

I must weed more, Carole.. this is beautiful!

What a lovely simple subject it has made Carole, a beauty without doubt.

Thank you, inspiration comes from simple things sometimes doesn't it?

Patience paid off again. Brill Carole

I echo your sentiments about weeding, Carole! Those weeds are almost inspirational, at times. This is lovely, wonderfully painted textures with lovely depth and layers. Superb work!

This is stunning Carole. I like this very, very much.

Brilliant composition Carole, I love the colours which are so delicate.

Very skilled piece of work Carole

You are all very kind Thank you.

Excellent work Carole and so very well observed especially the "hairs" on the ivy stems.

Pencil watercolour. Found this whilst weeding (has its perks sometimes)
