I like the way you've presented the Nuthatch. We used to have one in our previous house, he'd claimed an oak tree. I recall him running up and down the trunk...just like your painting. Lovely work.

Nice illustration Carole. Wish we could see some of these birds. We only have starlings and sparrows mainly, though I do love sparrows!

Watercolour. Saw one of these birds scouting around my apple tree (looking for nuts?). it was feeding with the tit family.
