Yes, that was worth doing, Carole. It was lovely before, but having the background has enhanced the foreground and the tree, branch, blossom, and thrush, are now really standing proud and more pronounced. A really beautiful watercolour.

Please excuse second posting of this but I needed to show you the additional bits. Thought it looked sparse and not in a good setting so added distant trees, also darkened the foreground.
