An example of how I work.

Like to see how you work ... your eye for detail works outwards so interesting. I paint in an entirely different way i.e. paint everything and then get more detailed layer by layer. fascinating.

Hi Heather, I usually work from top left to right building the layers as I go, although I do like to develop the scene in sections on the larger pieces. I do return to the whole to set final detail. On my smaller pieces I tend to work similar to you, often not bothering to record the process.
