Hi Fiona, I think that this is an improvement with the darker tones underneath the bridge. I did not mean you to change your colours and I agree the earlier one is too lurid - to use your description. I suggest you now move on, retain your own style and general colour schemes, or palette, but introduce some slightly darker tones where they are needed, (as you have done with Bridge 3). I hope this helps!

Thanks again, Lionel for your comments and encouragement. I think the bridge is a subject I shall return to at some future point. In the meantime, I feel a seascape coming on!
