Chaos

I like this interesting work. Although normally a person with preferences more towards figurative paintings, I am finding my tastes are changing and I am getting an increasing amount of pleasure from this type of work. I love the colours, the movement and the feeling of a stormy passage through dangerous surroundings. Was this what you wished to communicate? The stormy parts of our lives when everything appears chaotic?

Many thanks, Selina. My niche is mind body spirit, specifically spiritual metaphysics so, in a sense, they are figurative to me. The three beings in the front of the picture (who are very real to me) represent light and order. The chaos, on one level, is the 'primordial soup' and, on another level, the Source. Its power does contain potential chaos, darkness as well as light, and there is a constant battle for balance. Ultimately, the result is down to free will. Sorry if that sounds a tad heavy, but it really is what is in my mind when I paint. :*)
