Like it Emma. It has the atmosphere of Saltholme with distant view of the Transporter. Nicely understated.

I like this Emma and not just because that's the Middlesbrough Tranny in the background lol, love the flock of birds and the ones perched on the bench.

A lovely calming painting Emma.

This is really lovely work Emma.

This is a great painting, subtle and sympathetic. Love the touch of humour in the title!

Thanks everyone (and bonus points to those who recognised the Transporter Bridge!)

Something about Saltholme reminds me, in a good way, of airports - perhaps the open, flat landscape or the constant sense of arriving and departing, movement everywhere - I'm guessing the terns are waiting to take off whilst the geese are coming in to land. Watercolour on Arches Not paper; Crimson alizarin, cobalt blue and yellow ochre, 18" X 12".
