Yes, "simple" takes a lot of thought and work. I'm a great admirer of Rothko, and do like this - even though on the whole I'm not drawn to abstraction .... well, other than Rothko, Pollock, Mondrian, Klee, Chagall: perhaps I'm more drawn to it than I think I am!

In the style of Rothko. Acrylics painted on stretched canvas 76x51 cm. I have to admit that this pushed me out of my comfort zone. I’ve come to the conclusion that the most simplistic to look at, is the most difficult to do. And photographing it was even harder, the light was terrible, therefore the colours aren’t as clear as the real item.
