The painting is worked in acrylic on canvas. My aim was to be representative of the scene but not too fussy and detailed. I enjoyed painting this as yet again I challenged myself by using figures as well as architectural detail which I don’t often paint. In this painting I wanted to give the impression of place and time. I hope you like it xx

Hi Malcolm Yes it was. It was a fantastic day painting with other like minded artists. Painting on the day was really difficult as the sun was so bright and the paint dried so quickly! I painted this afterwards but didn’t want to labour on it too long as it wouldn’t have had the effect I wanted to achieve x
