I had been following the winner, Bonecrusher for over 6 months, drawing and painting him live.This was one of my earliest racing thoroughbred paintings. I had also been following the runner up Our Waverly Star. I went to all the big races in Melbourne capturing and following the biggest horse stars in the racing industry. It is also unfinished. Note to self, put that on the 'to do' list.
