Island Lighthouse - Oil Painting. Choosing familiar subjects allows me to be very experimental with forms and treatment. This is from a long running series of lighthouse paintings in which I have fun with impasto and texture and overlaid encaustic. The painting is on artists canvas paper. Size of painting 11 x 10 inches
