Exceptional drawing skills. How on earth do you keep pencil drawings so clean and fresh! Mine just smudge.

I do smudge, but I use low cunning. I always start drawing top right (I'm left handed) and work down to bottom left. I may have a piece of kitchen towel under my hand if it's hot weather. If all else fails I have a large soft rubber! This copes well with the smudge marks from a 9B pencil.
