Not sure of the medium used here Elaine, mixed media possibly. Very interesting piece indeed.

Yes mixed media and a lot of paint and anything else that was within reach. Thanks Alan.

Thanks Margaret.

Great stuff Elaine, thanks for the info and love your ‘hung-ho’ approach.

Love the sort of free-for-all approach in this, super colours too!

Thank you Thalia. It is a favourite Cornish cove to watch the sunset. Just leaving out the detail.

I love the way you throw yourself into the painting work with freedom, and adimire you have gift to orchestra any character of colours!

Thank you. It’s fun to put wild colours together.

Love the freedom within this but there is order in the chaos and I love the way the light emerges so subtly Elaine.

Thanks Carol. It was a challenge to try to paint a subject when it was almost dark.

A wonderfully vibrant and exciting textural painting! This reminds me of our 4th of July's with fireworks starting at dusk to dark on our lakes here in the Seattle, WA, USA area. A favorite master painter of mine is Winslow Homer, his painting of fireworks on the water at night, and I am reminded of that with your fantastic painting! Love this Elaine. :)

Really love this, colours and atmosphere

Thank you Nancy and Fiona.

Wonderful colour & texture!

Thank you Clare.

Lovely effects.

Thank you Jill.
