Excellent figures Edward, Good one of Mel Gibson playing William Wallace in " Braveheart" and also the one in the middle is that Liam Neeson. well done. eaves.

Thank you. They are actually three individual paintings, which I cobined into one to poduce prints. Ed

Great paintings and they look good altogether like that. However, as a Scotswoman, I can't take Hollywood casting seriously - Mel Gibson as Braveheart - come on now - you cannot be serious LOL! As for Lian Neeson as Rob Roy - very good looking but very dodgy Scottish accent. However, for the purposes of this painting all that isn't that important. You have produced wonderful strong images and if we ignore the Hollywood's take on it, it is a great reminder of Scotland's history. Really well painted.

Thanks, as I stated , cinematic interpretations, Sean Connery where were you?

Excellent Edward, I really like this. Did you use a grid for drawing or were they done freehand. The likenesses are just great..........the actors are recognizable immediately. One thing I'd like to mention though, I'm not sure about the Ozzie and the Frenchman, as regards portraying Scottish greats...............but now Liam Neeson is Irish and aren't the Scots just wayward Irishmen who went further north because they liked the rain!!

I used to use a grid until I discovered Paperwave Tracedown, which saves a lot of time. Yes the Irish came across for the rain, and the midges, but don't forget the haggis!

Who is the 3rd Hero on the right after Liam Neeson (Rob Roy)?

Christopher Lambert in Highlander
