Each year, at the time of the Winter Solstice, I make a visit to North Norfolk to walk along the coast and see the migratory birds. This engraving was made at the end of a freezing day there, and just as I was about to leave, the crows, jackdaws and rooks were sweeping across the bare tree tops as they went to roost.  Medium: a drypoint engraving It is printed in black ink on Fabriano Rosapina 300gsm paper. It is printed in an edition of 30.
