I really like the shell and shadow, the diagonal composition is interesting too. Just a snippet but a coincidence ha ha, my step father was a Dennis Spicer!

Looking for a subject for a quick painting I looked on my odds and end shelf and found these three things. (I tend to hoard anything I think might make a good subject, even dead insects! Wife calls it my junk.). Resultant painting took a morning (2 1/2 hours), with a bit of touching up this morning. Quite pleased.
