This still life is brilliantly done, Denis. I hope there are many more too eventually, but a change in direction can be invigorating at times.

I agree with Ian, I too can see the Magritte influence in this lovely painting, but why has the sea shell been "sent to the naughty corner?"

I like the "Maybe". I think Ruth is right though - a change of direction is what keeps you interested, and interesting.

A real eye catcher! The colours perfect. A change of direction OK. But please do return some day. This is so good!

A change is as good as a rest they say but please do more of these at some point as you are a master at still lives. Excellent.
