Thank you very much for your comments Syd, Jenny, John and David. I do have major problems working from scanned photos. As you probably have experience yourselves, it loses all the contrasts and subtle shading, so I was quaking a little in my boots when asked to do this one. Thankfully, the client was happy and asked me to do her neighbours dog. Your lovely comments encourage me, thank you, again!
