The thumbnail only showed the lower section from the rim of the fall and it looked eerily spooky in fact better than the total views which is captured nicely.

My mistake it wasn't the thumbnail, just I hadn't scrolled but it did look spooky, try it.

Covering the top part ( just about where the Rock is ) there is a real feeling of depth, it does have quite an effect, as Derek says. You could make this into two paintings Bob.

This could make you feel queasy if you were afraid of heights....brilliant effect.

Wow!! Thank you Derek and Marjorie (once again!!), And Fiona! This is exactly the sort of input I was looking for when posting these paintings. I amvery new to this so I need all the help I can get! I agree with you. I achieved better depth on the cliff face than the actual landscape and it could make two paintings I was also wanting to paint a bird in the foreground for perspective and a bit of interest but I lost my bottle!! Many thanks for your comments
