I love this Dorothy, it's so well done. It really made me smile. Did you use pastels for this? I have just sent for some pastel pencils to try as everyone seems to get such wonderful results.

Thank you Tessa, Sandra and Margaret. Yes Margaret, forgot to say it is a mixture of pastel pencils and soft pastels on Clairefontaine pastelmat paper. I use Conte pastel pencils mainly but with the addition of Faber Castell and Derwent pastel pencils, also Schminke Soft pastels. When I first started with pastels I hated them because they can be quite messy and couldn't seem to handle them well at all but once I found the sort of pencils and paper that I liked, it is my favourite medium and most of my bigger work is done with them.
