What a lovely reminder of a well loved pet. We had quite a few hamsters when my children were small. Needless to say some were surprise arrivals but all very much loved and each one had their unique ways!

Thank you very much everyone for your lovely comments. I think hamsters were a popular choice of pet, maybe still are. Our one had a habit of climbing up the curtains and going down the other side. A neighbour once came to my door and told me I had mice in the house! L.O.L.
