Mixed media. I painted this iris in May in watercolour. I had thought it was lost but was not. The background is colour washed and the foliage also with different greens and clingfilm. After a lot of thought the petals were cut out and painted separately. The ink caused the edges to wrinkle which is what I wanted then the petals were glued with just enough to hold them down
