At first I thought I wouldn't have included more than just the head, but I think you were right to show more, on further reflection; it conveys the bulk of this lovely dog.

Hello Robert, thank you for you comments on Tanya, I do appreciate you taking the time to comment. Tanya was a commission as a surprise Christmas gift for my neighbour's husband. I must have painted her about 12 years ago. Tanya was a lovely dog, so gentle in her manner despite being a rather large animal. Sadly both Tanya and her master have now passed on.
