Hello Dorothy, I like this painting very much, and I think you have used the canvas format to great effect where the rocks are balanced by the figure on the right. Seascapes are a particular favourite subject of mine. Well done.

Great painting, Dorothy. I always struggle to paint wet sand and you have captured it perfectly, great clouds too. I agree with Norman about the format, it works very well.
