Love the colours! Usually red is considered to be a powerful colour and artists tend to have a splodge in one place (at a 'third') to catch the eye; by using red as the main colour the eye is drawn to that gorgeous splash of purply-blue near the top. Very well planned! What size is it?

Thankyou very much for so many lovely comments about my magical mushrooms the size of the canvas is 50cm x 60cm and the painting goes around the sides. The piece just sort of grew itself I very rarely plan a piece, but just go with the flow and see what happens. I liked the end result myself.Once again thanks for the comments.
