Hi Carole, Kai and Spencer. I'm glad you liked this image. Perhaps, it's somewhat quirky but you do come across contrasts when exploring from life. What's unique to the Malvern's are the skies arriving from the Urals in Russia over the Great European Plain.

An image of an industrial facility in a rural Malvern setting. An unusual subject for me. Drawn directly from life with pen and Indian ink. Old school style. With colour pencils. The verticals of the tree, factory chimney, and factory buildings contrasting with the horizontals of the foreground and patterns of the sky. An A5 size sketch.
