No idea who Ian Falstaff is Derek, but this is a fabulous portrait.

Thanks Frank. It's actually my friend Ian in a local theatre group having grown his beard to play Falstaff in Shakespeare's "The Merry Wives of Windsor". He beat me to the part but at least I got a good portrait as a result.

Derek Watts

Decided to see if I could draw or paint about 18 months ago after retirement, having done no art since my first year at grammar school. Went to some classes, mostly life, and found I was keen on pastels. Looking forward to progressing with watercolours and other mediums.
