I see it all Diane, even the birds - pleasing image.

A very symbolic structure, a marker of many things..... spiritual, memorable, meditative and a place of offering and grace, even a way marker. There is a large cairn at the Isle of Whithorn Diane were people collect a pebble from the beach, write a message on it and place it on the cairn, or around the cairn (worth a google) there are one or two of mine there! I have a Clootie tree which I treat as something similar, tying a ribbon or rag to remember, to celebrate or a silent observation. I recently added one for friend who had lost something very dear to her. Anyway, there is a lot of meaning in this painting which goes beyond the real.
