A lovely rural scene, Dermot...typical of English countryside. My grandmother came from Sandyford, Dublin, I believe, but came over to England as a young girl.

I based this on a photo supplied by Margaret Battye who takes some lovely shots of the English countryside as I live across here in Dublin I find these photos of the English countryside and the beautiful stone buildings make a lovely subject for the landscape painter
