Yes JFW was a super watercolour painter Dermot, I do have one of his many books. Another beauty from an equally talented artist.

Well this sky is a beauty Dermot. Great painting. Love the title.

I think this is lovely - skies and the simplicity of the people and dog plus great colour palette

Great little scene. Love the space, freshness and the smell of the ozone, I almost get here Dermot.

Lovely, has that “ wish I was there” feeling!

Sky feature with style Dermot

Just the right amount of foreground detail to compliment the sky excellent Dermot. Good to see our paintings side by side on the top row.

Wonderful work 😀👍👍👍

Sky, sea, sand and people, what more could you want in the perfect watercolour. Beautiful Dermot.

Lovely work, Dermot!

I do so agree with Alan's comment, JFW was a particular hero of mine...and still is! This is an enchanting beach scene again, Dermot, simplicity at it's best.

Wonderful sky Dermot, you are so good at these. I love the figures, the dog, and the title.

Beautiful watercolour work Dermot, and the moving figures give atmosphere to this.

Really love the sky and the shadows cast.

Beaches are made for big skies!! Love your sea, simple but soooo effective!

I love painting these beach scenes as it give one the chance to do so many different skies . I always remember the great James Fletcher Watson would do a sky rapidly covering 3 quarters the sheet and he always recommended making a feature of skies
