There is a lot going on in the first sketch Derek, as you say but it's packed full of interesting marks and shapes.

Thanks Henry. Because of all the stuff in the museum I didn't want to just sketch a plane as several did and chose a scene which is more an abstract with many shapes in a sense

With the Southamption Grou at 10am Solent Sky air museum. Stuffed full and quite daunting, so I purposely picked the most difficult view of course, to push myself. Got the A4 sketch in first then the A5 which was the scene right across to the other side of the walkway. Met two ladies in the large group who are in POL, and old git that I am, forgot their names - sorry ladies.
