Machinery; heavy, dark and wonderful.

Thanks Michael, wonder why all the ladies steered clear of this area. I might go back on my own and get detail, proper shapes and all the dark and wonderful colours. It would work up nice as a finished acrylic piece.

I bet it would Derek. You would make it 'powerful'.

This is different for you Derek!

Unusual but good - very strong.

JUst trying things Ellen, thanks Donna

Very different from what you normally do Derek.

Yes thanks Adele, have tried and not posted, a bit like you and pastels - traumatised, but at least we've seen your charming effort.

Not sure why you're not happy Derek - love the abstract quality of it.

I tend to like a bit more defined detail Michael and not achieved here but it does have a certain attraction from that point.

Thank you Derek. I think it is good to see any effort, even if not so good as it shows we are all human and we can watch and learn. That's my opinion anyway!

Very lively and exciting Derek. Amazing what you can do with charcoal isn't it. Thanks for commenting on mine.

Thanks Tom. I do like it but needs to be in the right place like a life class

Down where the big cogs were grinding. Not too happy with this but there were lots of darks.

Eleventyeight as my hashing pals called my new age recently, it's supposed to sound better. Trying to paint every day in acrylics using only expired credit/debit cards, and partially succeeding as they're only for me and not show these days.
