Okay, so the pole's in the middle, but I think it enhances the perspective. I love the 'carded' tree Derek.

Cheers Frank, we are allowed to break the rules now and then if we're over 70.

Yes Derek you can do as you want well done sir

A very lively and vibrant piece, Derek

Thank Seok, that nissan hut is packed full of very old, very dilapidated and very high value stuff if you're into steam and machines of all sorts.

What rule? This works the way you have done it. Great colours and figures.

Breaking "rules" frees up creativity Derek, and in this case it's done it no harm. I like it.

Cheers Andre, I am going to try some more subtle tones if possible with my heavy handed technique

24 x 14cm on double sample of rough. The pole is not there but when I flattened the sample the groove of the fold was always there, so I kept it as a feature. Not good being central but it served a purpose. With cards from an A4 sketch in 2007at 0930 hrs.

Eleventyeight as my hashing pals called my new age recently, it's supposed to sound better. Trying to paint every day in acrylics using only expired credit/debit cards, and partially succeeding as they're only for me and not show these days.
