The textures are superb, Derek. It's a very impressionistic piece, I think you will not need such absolute precision for the eyes to make it work. I'm sure you'll get there without much difficulty. Looking forward to seeing the final product.

It's looking good Derek and I know you will hit it right! It's got some lovely textures and tones and even though the eyes are yet to go in, it's got that 'look'.

40 x 30 cms on paper. Really struggling with getting those eyes correct. They will make it. Am trying various techniques and instruments to achieve perfection as my hands and fingers are too shaky. This is after about 4 lots of work on it, various areas.
