Would never have guessed Derek.Lovely bright colours.

Lots of lovely colour and texture Derek! The Gondolier is brilliant. I love how you painted his top and he looks like he is pushing hard to make the Gondola shift :)

Thanks Sarah, he was pure free ink strokes and dribbles, not intending any shape of action, but it worked.

Lots of interest and colour going on in this one, Derek. Nicely vivacious and jolly.

Thank you Thea, earlier days I would hev been very detailed and accurate.

A loose version from a Nat.Geo book. 50 x 35cms on board. Now you see it - end of test! Got some reasonable comments at the workshop last week and just got round to tarting it up. Initially inks made the marks and dribbled them too, some credit card work and then brush.

Eleventyeight as my hashing pals called my new age recently, it's supposed to sound better. Trying to paint every day in acrylics using only expired credit/debit cards, and partially succeeding as they're only for me and not show these days.
