Definitely captured the desperation, the melee before going 'over the top'. It makes me shudder to think how it really was for these young men. A sad and terrible time in history.

Finally completed having been away since Thursday. Using very muted palette and guessing a lot, but I think I have captured a tribute to D-Day. 25 x 20cm on handmade paper.
