I think the dark tones should be emphasised dennis, but I like the composition and subject.

Dark can be beautiful...

As Derek says this has a nice composition and the arches are very well drawn (always struggle with arches myself). The foreground is a bit dark and heavy, I often run mine under the tap when I have too much pigment on! The ex president of my art group was a super watercolourist and I remarked to her how clean her washes were and she told me she often made use of 'the tap'!

I wont analyse it I just like it I don't really have much knowledge of watercolour but I'm going to get it soon.
