Talks to me of a harbour Dennis.

Yes Jim based on boats many thanks

Love it Dennis. It talks to me of hills (especially the one on the left), trees, a figure, I can now see the boats but not being as familiar with boats as you and Jim didn't see it at first. Plenty to interpret here.

very nice Dennis it makes want to add some lines and turn it into a train or something its great

That's a great idea Dennis would love to see it

A view through the specs of Turner. It leaves a lot to the imagination which makes one study it a lot more thoroughly. Nice work Dennis.

I'm happiest with abstract paintings that allow me to read things into what I'm seeing...as this does. This is very like images we've seen on the news lately...harbors being inundated by stormy seas. This painting could well be behind a weatherman describing such scenes...it would work very well. I'm struggling to say exactly what I mean, and I may well have misread your painting. It's a thought provoking image, and, as such, a complete success.

Many thanks Ibolya and Lewis yes mainly a study for application of paint

I too thought it was like Mr Turner, Dennis. Quite a conversational piece, I like it, the more you look the more you see.

Many thanks Ellen yes a great artist

Your paintings are always full of interest, intrigue, but most of all, artistic skill that creates exciting work.

Really like this one Dennis – in particular the spatter effect which I just can't get using oils.

Great abstract (with hints of landscape) - love the colours used,

It’s great Dennis it’s one of those if you have it on the wall you can spend hours reading into it but what I love most is that it elements all seem in perfect harmony.

Many thanks Guy Michael and Barry yes it worked in the end

Agree Dennis, lots here to fire up the imagination,

Beautiful palette and brush strokes, Dennis.

Artistic skill shows through Dennis, very harmonious.
