Wellcome back to the figurative with another masterpiece, Dennis.

This is a great effect Dennis, does the paint sit about on the tape before settling?

Yes it does Fiona and there is still a good few things to try with it and it is cheap and many thanks Cesare.

And I still find them interesting, great idea Dennis.

I like the sound of that Dennis.....

Yes and the lines help with the drawing Thanks so much Alan

I love this painting Dennis, great idea as well :)

Not sure what the masking tape does but like the scene.

Is there anything you can't do with a brush Dennis . This is on masking paper does that mean tape . Its great painting mate again .

Like this effect Dennis, however not sure I understand how you achieve it, anyway it's a lovely painting, the skyline shows on the buildings work really well.

This idea of using masking tape is quite intriguing and I do like the results. I was just wondering how stuck the tape actually becomes. If you had made an error in the painting, could you peel a strip off and replace it? That would be a clever way around unwanted blooms or back Runs! Anyway - another lovely painting Dennis.

Many thanks all I am just using it for practice

A very lively piece, full of vitality, Dennis.

Thanks so much Gudrun and Seok

Love this Dennis...reminds me of our village pond ....an unusual idea, the masking tape, but very effective.
