Great colour Dennis. Bit more on those trees is my thought. Super earth though.

You make what could be an uninspiring scene look so inviting

The power of suggestion is top drawer, with lovely and subtle colour. Brian

Thanks John yes I could have put a bit more into it especially the trees

Thanks Carole very much

Thanks Diana your right it could be any old field its how you depict it that matters

Thanks Brian very much appreciated, I left a lot of unfinished areas but that's how I felt at that time

Well...if this is unfinished there's no hope for me! I absolutely love it and agree totally with Brian, top drawer indeed! It's exactly how I remember our local woods and fields in Worcestershire.

Beautiful colour in the trees and field Dennis. In fact this is what I was doing this morning . It was such a pleasure to see the sun shining through and melting the snow.

Thank you Thaila ,well knowing when to stop has been a most difficult decision through the art history some of the best have asked for advice , as for this one I determined that it was about right and to have gone any further I ran the risk of it looking like a photo , however everybody see's it differently, seems you and I are similar Thaila thank you again for kind comments.

Hi Sarah hope your fine. Thank you very much Sarah and I agree so good to see the sun working away and melting any left over snow , thank you again Sarah.

Thanks Margaret very much appreciated

Wonderful colours, Dennis.

Thanks Cesare very much appreciated

Love this Dennis, the field contours and the hedge are brilliant.

Like this very much Dennis. Lovely light on the path, the man's shirt stands out as a focal point against those misty-looking trees. (To me the trees look as if there is a bit of mist so perhaps earlyish morning and the mist hasn't quite burned off).
