It works beautifully Dennis. Did you photograph the various stages? I remember your showing how two of your paintings progressed from reference to final, but neither of them in a subject matter that I paint. I would love to see the progress of one of your landscapes if you felt like showing us two or three of the in-between stages.

I think I have one stage which I'll put on for you tomorrow morning Sandra thank you very very much for comments much appreciated

I really like the evening pinkish light as the sun goes down Dennis.

Thanks Carole yes it wasn't in the original but I thought it enhanced the scene

I really like the way you’ve improved on the photo with warmer tones and removing most of the sky. I too would like to see a previous stage if you have and feel like showing?

Thanks Tessa I'll put it on later today

Excellent work as usual, Dennis.

Excellent work Dennis, it’s great to see the reference and observe the changes you have made. I have recently been trawling through my photos and seeing how others interpret their photos is really useful.

Interesting to see the origins of your finished pieces Dennis, thank you for showing them.

A very restful scene Dennis, interesting how you have 'teaked' the original scene. I did quite like the light sky in the original too.

Hi Dennis I love the way you have turned the sun on, making the cornfield and the cows glow.

Fabulous bucolic feel to this piece, Dennis. Love the low light, which works so well to highlight the languorous mood of the cows.

Beautifully done, Dennis.

Thanks Dennis much appreciated
