A simple scene well painted. We can imagine the details, we can feel the dazzling light and heat. Imagine the produce on the market stall, the the complex architecture of the ancient buildings, who needs detail?

I absolutely agree Stephen 100 percent. In fact the more detail often spoils an otherwise good painting.
