Lovely painting, nice water reflections Dennis<br />

Many thanks Peyra and much appreciated comments

Over two thirds of this is water, which with different shades and reflections done so well, the composition really works. A lovely painting brilliantly done.

Many thanks Andre yes I guess two thirds is water trick is to make it interesting water .

A favourite place of mine Dennis, so well captured as always, love the colours of the water.

Thanks Alan yes its a beautiful place the water is really the painting.

And that water is fabulous, shining and iridescent.

Thanks Marjorie and very appreciated.

wow Dennis, one of the places I need to visit one day.. Gorgeous and so beautiful :)

Beautiful Dennis, every one a winner!

This can only be Venice, with the lonely gondolier, paddling along the canal. I like the back wall also, with its texture and subtle shadows. &#39;Just one cornetto, give it to me&#39;, yes I&#39;m there, not in freezing Oldham.

Love the colours in the water, and the light captured in this painting.

Lesley thank you very much indeed . I feel especially good about your comment on the water as I know its your speciality . The water picks up some nice colours in this but I love the milky kind of colour in front of the darker building .

Thanks Jennifer much appreciated comments

Beautifully done Dennis...Yes, the water is superbly rendered and there is a feeling of movement in the waves.

Just the water would make it dennis. Lovely piece.

Wow beautiful painting, gorgeous colours and reflections in the water I love it.

The sunlight on the water is beautiful.

Many thanks Chandra Derek Rachel and Sarah.

Fabulous work, Dennis. Superb contrast of the flowing canal and the solid, old buildings.

Thanks Seok very much comment appreciated
